With all this chilly weather we’re having in Florida, it’s good to stay close to shore and fish the Intracoastal. One of my favorite species to catch is a Redfish. You know you’ve got something special when you feel that first tug on your line, and seeing their beautiful copper and gold colors is a real treat. Today I’m highlighting one of my paintings called “Waiting on the Tide” — these hungry Redfish patiently hover over a grassy flat, waiting for a nice school of baitfish to meander by in the fresh, incoming tide.
